On a rainy evening in March at Melbourne Parish Church two choirs assembled to entertain a crowd of nearly 100 people. The Rolls Royce Ladies Choir and The Carlton Male Voice Choir gave up their time to raise money for me&dee.

Both choirs were in fine form with the Rolls Royce Ladies starting the proceedings and just before the break a group of me&dee children joined them for a rendition of All Things Bright and Beautiful, a massive hit with the audience.

The Carlton Male Voice Choir then entertained everyone with a varied repertoire, giving further enjoyment to all those who attended. The setting of Melbourne Parish Church was amazing and drinks that were purchased prior to the evening starting were served up by the church volunteers in the interval.

The evening came to an end with both choirs singing together which was the highlight and sent people home with beaming smiles.

We were able to to run a raffle on the evening and along with tickets sales the event raised £1,359.30 which was fantastic, thank you everyone, your support is very much appreciated.
