You are invited to our 19th Anniversary Annual Ball, The Ruby Ball, to be held at Crowne Plaza East Midlands, Kegworth
When: Saturday 11th October 2025, 5:15pm – 6:15pm drinks reception, 6:20pm call to dinner

Our theme for this year’s ball is ‘Ruby’ a nod to the birthstone of July, the official birthday month of me&dee.
We have a wonderful evening instore featuring a drinks reception with renowned cellist, Claire Bostock, fabulous food & table magicians, live entertainment by the incredibly talented Andy Quinn, and of course our illustrious raffle, silent & live auction!

Venue Information
The Crowne Plaza East Midlands hotel has fantastic, newly refurbished accommodation on-site and we would highly encourage booking early to make a weekend of the event and avoid disappointment.
Single occupancy rooms are available at £105, and double occupancy at £115 (including breakfast).

Andy Quinn
Andy appeared in Michael Mcintyres Big Show as his ‘Unexpected Star’. Wowing audiences across the Country with his performance of ‘Bring Him Home’ from the hit musical ‘Les Mis’, Andy became an overnight sensation. Following in from this Andy has had many wonderful opportunities to perform at some fantastic venues including The Darley Proms to an audience of 25,000. The Royal Concert Hall Nottingham twice to a sellout new years eve audience. He has performed on BGT as ‘The Firefighters’, and sold out two of his own concerts at the Derby Theatre after producing his first album of musical theatre songs ‘Unexpected Star’
Andy Taylor Entertainment
For the third year running we are delighted to welcome Andy Taylor back. Andy who will not only be providing the live sound and lighting for the evening and making sure that everything is tip top for the artists.
Claire Bostock
Claire was born and grew up in Leicestershire. Following completion of her training as a classical cellist in London, she relocated to Suffolk, spending time in the classroom before returning to ‘doing’ rather than ‘teaching’. Claire enjoys the diversity of performing in a range of styles and collaborating with other performers in live and recorded mediums.
