30 Days of Hope
Join me&dee Charity this June for 30 Days of Hope, a month-long fundraising campaign designed to bring comfort, support and hope to local families facing some of life’s most difficult challenges.
The campaign is inspired by a simple idea: with 30 days in June and £30 funding one Hope Elephant, supporters are encouraged to raise or donate just £1 a day throughout the month. By the end of June, they will have funded a Hope Elephant for a family in need.
Hope Elephants are gifted to families supported by me&dee and partner services across Derby and Burton. They provide comfort, create precious memories and serve as a lasting reminder that families are not alone during difficult times. In one ear Hope has a voice recorder to capture messages and in the other note cards to write down special memories.
Funds raised through 30 Days of Hope will help me&dee continue supporting families through its Continuing Care Programme, as well as those cared for by the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust, including Children’s Wards, Neonatal Teams and Children’s Mortuary Services.
Get Involved
There are lots of ways to take part:
- Collect £1 a day throughout June using a 30 Days of Hope Money Box.
- Take on a daily 30-minute challenge.
- Walk, run or cycle 30 miles during the month.
- Swim 30 lengths or complete 30 laps.
- Organise a bake sale, workplace fundraiser or community event.
- Create your own challenge inspired by the number 30.
