Back at Pride Park Again

Here we are again, back at Pride Park as a charity partner, for the 2022 Derby 10K, organised once again by our friends at the Derby County Community Trust.

Because of covid the 2021 event was held later in the year in October so to be back again in April was a bit of a shock to the system. However, the weather this time around was a lot better, it was dry but not too hot, great running conditions.

Once again an early start for Maria and Mark, this time joined by one of our Angel volunteer’s, Andy Mantle who helped Mark put the gazebo up and set the store out while Maria arranged the tombola helped by Ellie.

Once the cappuccinos and bacon sarnies’ had been consumed the runners started to show up along with our two junior Angels, Ava and Beatrice who maned the tombola for us, raising £100 on the day.

We were delighted to have 17 runners this year and those 17 runners raised an amazing £4,649.00!!!!!

A massive thank you to everyone involved this year, we really do appreciate the aches and pains you go through to raise the funds which enable us to create so many special memories #memorymakers

Massive shout out to our supporters, Document Network Services, showed up at the end of the event to help break the stand down, they are now fully qualified gazebo dismantlers.

We were very much humbled by the response this year with Rhodes Wealth Management and Koobr both entering teams to raise money for me&dee, thanks to everyone who came along to support us.
